Local knowledge

Why the pickup town changes more than the price

Two towns twenty miles apart can need completely different trip plans. Oak Harbor has two viable routes to Sea-Tac — south over the Deception Pass bridge, or across on the Clinton–Mukilteo ferry — and which one is faster depends on the hour you're travelling and whether it's a summer weekend.

Friday Harbor is a ferry sailing before it's a drive, so the whole plan is built around the crossing rather than the road. La Conner in tulip season is a different proposition from La Conner in November.

These are the things a routing app doesn't weigh and a driver from out of the area doesn't know. They're also the difference between arriving with buffer and arriving in a hurry.

Questions

Service area questions

Do you pick up from residential addresses?

Yes. All service is door-to-door from the address you provide, whether that's a home, hotel, marina, rental, or business.

Do you serve the San Juan Islands?

We serve Friday Harbor via Washington State Ferries from Anacortes. Because the sailing schedule drives the trip plan, those bookings are quoted and coordinated individually rather than priced from a table.

My town isn't listed. Can you still pick me up?

Very likely. We regularly serve Coupeville, Freeland, Langley, Clinton, and Concrete, and we take requests beyond the primary area. Call with your address and we'll quote it.

Does the pickup town change the price?

Yes, because it changes the distance. Mount Vernon is twenty-two miles closer to Sea-Tac than Anacortes and priced accordingly. Each town's fare is in the table above.

Do you cross to Whidbey Island by bridge or ferry?

Either, depending on which is faster for your specific departure time. Summer weekend traffic at Deception Pass and the Clinton–Mukilteo sailing schedule both factor in, and we choose the route when we plan your pickup.
