Services · WeddingsAnacortes Airport Shuttle provides wedding guest shuttles, wedding party vehicles, and out-of-town guest airport transfers for venues across Fidalgo Island, Anacortes, the Skagit Valley, and Whidbey Island. Bookings are hourly, so one vehicle runs as many loops between lodging and venue as the day needs. We carry two to fourteen passengers per vehicle and coordinate multiple vehicles for larger weddings.
We know the local venues — Scimitar Ridge Ranch, Wisteria Gardens, Seafarers Memorial Park and the rest — including their access roads, parking limits, and what each one needs from a shuttle plan.
Fidalgo Island attracts couples from Seattle, Vancouver, and out of state, and the venues here are genuinely spectacular. They are also, almost without exception, at the end of a rural road with limited parking and no lighting.
Meanwhile your guests are scattered across hotels in Anacortes, Mount Vernon, and Burlington, a good number have flown into Sea-Tac ninety miles away, and rideshare coverage on Fidalgo Island after 10:00 PM is effectively zero. There is no bus. There is no taxi rank.
So the transport plan is not a nicety at an Anacortes wedding — it is the thing that determines whether your guests arrive together, and whether anyone ends up driving a farm road in the dark after the bar closes.
A wedding is not one trip. It is twenty or thirty movements across a day. Hourly charter reserves the vehicle and driver for a block of time and covers every loop inside it at no additional per-trip cost, which is both cheaper and far simpler to coordinate.
Each of these presents a different logistical problem. Knowing which one you are dealing with is most of the job.
A 40-acre private estate just south of Anacortes that markets itself for everything from micro weddings to multi-day destination weddings, with the Yellowstone Event Center accommodating up to 200 guests and Faith's Chapel seating up to 40 for intimate ceremonies.
The transport challenge here is the multi-day format. On-site lodging covers a substantial portion of guests, but rarely all of them, so you typically have a split: some guests on the property for the weekend, others in Anacortes hotels needing daily movement in both directions.
A garden and barn venue accommodating 150 to 200 guests depending on the season, with a 5,000 square foot heated event barn. It sits southeast of downtown Anacortes, a couple of minutes off Highway 20 heading toward Whidbey Island.
Access is easier than most rural venues here, and there is on-site parking — but that does not solve the drinking-and-driving problem, which is what most couples actually book us for. Guest shuttles from town lodging mean nobody has to make a decision about it at 11:00 PM.
A waterfront park overlooking Cap Sante Marina, with a rentable building and views across to the San Juans. The building can be rented, but the park itself remains a public area throughout — which is the detail that shapes the transport plan.
Parking is shared with the public. On a summer Saturday, a wedding party competing with beach visitors and boaters for spaces is a real and predictable problem. Dropping guests at the door and having the vehicle leave removes it entirely.
Port of Anacortes rentals carry their own requirements: liability insurance naming the Port as additional insured, with proof supplied 30 days ahead, plus a banquet permit and damage deposit. None of that involves us, but couples are regularly caught out by the 30-day deadline. Confirm it early.
We run wedding transport across the whole service area, not only these three.
Airport runs from Sea-Tac, Paine Field, or Bellingham in the days before. Out-of-town guests are usually the first thing to solve.
Collections from hotels and inns across Anacortes, Mount Vernon, and Burlington, timed backwards from the ceremony.
A separate vehicle for the couple and the party, so you are never waiting on a guest loop to come back around.
Everyone delivered together and on time, at the door rather than at whatever parking exists.
Ceremony to reception, plus photo stops if the timeline allows. Deception Pass and Cap Sante are the usual requests.
Staggered runs through the night so guests leave when they are ready, and nobody drives who should not.
A fourteen-passenger Sprinter running loops handles most weddings. Two loops moves twenty-eight guests, three moves forty-two, and it costs a fraction of putting several vehicles on the road at once.
Where the timing is tight — everyone seated for the same moment — we run vehicles in parallel instead. The Sprinter and the Transit together move twenty-four in a single movement, and adding SUVs takes it higher.
For a 200-guest wedding at Scimitar or Wisteria, the realistic answer is a combination: several vehicles for the main arrival, then a smaller rotation running through the evening as people leave at their own pace.
| Guests needing transport | Typical arrangement |
|---|---|
| Up to 14 | One Sprinter, single movement |
| 15–30 | One Sprinter running two loops, or Sprinter + Transit together |
| 30–60 | Two to three vehicles in parallel, or a rotation across the arrival window |
| 60–120 | Multiple vehicles plus a staged arrival schedule |
| 120–200 | Coordinated fleet with a written movement plan, booked well ahead |
Wedding transport
| Vehicle | Passengers | Wedding use |
|---|---|---|
| Premium Sedan | 3 | The couple's vehicle. The one in the photographs. |
| Luxury SUV | 6 | Wedding party, parents, or added to extend guest capacity |
| Mini Van | 4 | Families with children and car seats |
| Ford Transit Van | 10 | Guest loops, or paired with a Sprinter for simultaneous arrival |
| Mercedes Sprinter Van | 14 | The workhorse. Most wedding shuttle work runs on this. |
Child car seats are available as an add-on and should be requested at booking so they are fitted before the day. Formal wear, floral arrangements, and cake transport all fit — tell us in advance so we allow the space.
Weddings run late far more often than early. An extra hour on the reservation costs less than discovering your driver has to leave at 10:00 PM with forty guests still there.
Hourly charter and large-vehicle bookings need 7 days notice to cancel without charge, rather than the 24 hours on standard transfers. Note the date when you confirm.
We route from a list of pickup addresses. Getting that from guests early is the single most useful thing you can do for the plan.
Not the couple, and not a parent who will be in photographs. Someone with a phone on them all day who can answer if a pickup changes.
Deception Pass and Cap Sante are twenty minutes each way from most venues. If portraits are on the schedule, that time has to exist in the transport plan.
Saturday weddings between June and September commit our group vehicles for the whole day. Book as soon as you have a date and a venue.
Anacortes weddings draw guests who fly in, and Sea-Tac is ninety miles away — ninety to a hundred and twenty minutes of I-5 with the Everett corridor in the middle. It is not a trivial leg, and it is the part guests most often underestimate.
We handle those transfers alongside the wedding-day shuttle, so it is one company, one booking, and one point of contact. Guests flying into Bellingham are closer at 48 miles; Paine Field sits between the two at 60. If a meaningful number of your guests are travelling, it is worth telling them which airport actually makes sense.
For guests continuing on to the San Juans after the wedding, we coordinate with Washington State Ferries sailings out of Ship Harbor as well.
Wedding transport is booked as hourly charter, so the cost depends on the vehicle class and the number of hours reserved rather than a per-trip fare. Call us with your venue, guest count, and timeline and we will quote it properly.
Yes. Scimitar hosts multi-day destination weddings on a 40-acre estate south of Anacortes, and the transport pattern reflects that — airport runs across several arrival days, daily loops for guests staying in town, and staggered evening departures.
Yes. Wisteria sits southeast of Anacortes just off Highway 20 and accommodates 150 to 200 guests. Access is straightforward, so most bookings there are guest shuttles from town lodging rather than a parking solution.
Yes, and it is one of the more useful places to have a shuttle. The building is rentable but the park stays public, so parking is shared with beach visitors and boaters. Dropping at the door and leaving removes the problem.
Fourteen per Sprinter, and as many loops as your booked block allows. For weddings of 100 to 200 guests we run coordinated vehicles with a staged arrival plan rather than a single rotation.
Yes, and we would recommend it. A Premium Sedan or Luxury SUV held out of the guest rotation means you are never waiting on a shuttle, and the vehicle in your photographs is one you chose.
As late as you book it for. Staggered returns through the evening are the normal arrangement, so guests leave when they are ready rather than all at once at a fixed hour.
Yes. Sea-Tac is 90 miles from Anacortes and guest airport transfers are a routine part of wedding bookings. Bellingham at 48 miles is often the better airport for guests who have the choice.
Hourly charter and large-vehicle bookings require 7 days notice to cancel without charge, rather than the 24 hours that applies to standard transfers. Check that date when you confirm.
As soon as you have a date and a venue. Summer Saturdays commit our group vehicles months in advance, and a wedding booking ties up a vehicle for most of a day.
Send the date, the venue, roughly how many guests need moving, and where they are staying. We will build the routing and quote the hours.
