Wedding shuttles across Skagit Valley and the islands.

Anacortes Airport Shuttle provides wedding guest transport, bridal party vehicles, and airport runs for out-of-town guests across Skagit County, Whidbey Island, La Conner, and the San Juans gateway. Bookings are hourly, so a single vehicle can run as many loops between lodging and venue as the day needs without a per-trip charge.

The problem

Why wedding transport is different from every other booking

A wedding is not one trip. It is thirty trips that all have to work, and the failure mode is a guest stranded in the dark on a farm road.

Venues in this region are frequently beautiful and logistically difficult. A barn on the Skagit flats, a bluff above Deception Pass, a waterfront property outside La Conner — all of them share limited parking, unlit approach roads, and no realistic rideshare coverage after 10:00 PM.

Meanwhile the guests are spread across inns in three towns, half of them have flown in, and a meaningful number will be drinking. The transport plan is not a nicety. It is the thing that decides whether anyone has a problem at the end of the night.

We handle this as hourly charter rather than point-to-point bookings. You reserve the vehicle and driver for a block of hours, and inside that block they run as many loops as the day requires at no extra charge per trip.

How it works

A typical wedding day

STEP 01

Guest arrivals

Airport runs from Sea-Tac, Paine Field, or Bellingham for out-of-town guests in the days before.

STEP 02

Lodging loops

Collections from inns and hotels across Anacortes, La Conner, Mount Vernon, or Oak Harbor, timed to the ceremony.

STEP 03

Ceremony arrival

Everyone delivered together and on time, with the bridal party in a separate vehicle if you want one.

STEP 04

Between venues

Ceremony to reception transfers, including photo stops if the timeline allows.

STEP 05

Evening returns

Staggered runs through the night so guests leave when they are ready rather than all at once.

STEP 06

Departures

Airport transfers the following days, coordinated with everyone's flights.

Sizing the fleet for the guest count

A fourteen-passenger Sprinter running loops is usually the right answer for a wedding of any size. Two loops moves twenty-eight people, three moves forty-two, and it costs a fraction of putting on multiple vehicles simultaneously.

Where timing is tight — everyone at the ceremony for the same moment — we run several vehicles in parallel instead. The Transit and the Sprinter together carry twenty-four in one movement, and adding SUVs takes it higher.

For the couple, a Premium Sedan or a Luxury SUV kept separate from the guest shuttle is worth considering. It means you are not waiting on a loop, and the vehicle in the photographs is the one you chose.

Venue regions

Where we run wedding transport

Skagit Valley & the flats

Barn and farm venues around La Conner, Conway, and Fir Island. Long unlit approach roads and limited parking make guest shuttles close to essential.

Anacortes & Fidalgo Island

Waterfront venues, Washington Park, and Rosario Beach, with guests typically staying across Anacortes and Mount Vernon.

Whidbey Island

Coupeville, Ebey's Landing, Greenbank, and Langley. Guests often arrive from both ends of the island, which makes routing the whole exercise.

Bellingham & Chuckanut

Waterfront and hillside venues in Whatcom County, with lodging spread through Fairhaven and downtown.

Deception Pass

Rosario Beach and Bowman Bay ceremonies, where parking is genuinely the limiting factor on guest numbers.

San Juans gateway

Weddings on the islands, where we handle the mainland legs and coordinate with your ferry sailings.

Practical notes

Things worth deciding early

Timing

Book the block generously

Weddings run late more often than early. An extra hour on the booking costs less than discovering the driver has to leave at 10:00 PM.

Cancellation

Seven days on large vehicles

Transit, Sprinter, and hourly charter bookings require 7 days notice to cancel without charge. Note the date when you confirm.

Guests

Collect the lodging list

We route from a list of pickup addresses. Getting that from guests early is the single most useful thing you can do.

Contact

Nominate one person

Not the couple. Someone with a phone on them all day who can answer if a pickup address changes.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How much does a wedding shuttle cost?

Wedding transport is booked as hourly charter, so the cost depends on the vehicle class and the number of hours reserved rather than a per-trip fare. Call us with your guest count, venue, and timeline and we will quote it properly.

How many guests can you move?

A fourteen-passenger Sprinter running loops handles most weddings. Two loops moves twenty-eight guests, three moves forty-two. For simultaneous arrivals we run several vehicles in parallel — the Transit and Sprinter together carry twenty-four in one movement.

Can you do multiple pickups from different hotels?

Yes, and it is the normal arrangement. Guests are usually spread across inns in several towns, and hourly charter covers as many collection loops as the schedule needs.

Do you provide a separate vehicle for the couple?

Yes, and we would recommend it. A Premium Sedan or Luxury SUV kept out of the guest loop means you are not waiting on a shuttle, and the vehicle in your photographs is one you chose.

How late can the shuttle run?

As late as you book it for. Staggered evening returns are common, so guests leave when they are ready rather than all at once. Reserve generously — weddings run late far more often than they run early.

Can you collect guests from the airport?

Yes. Out-of-town guest transfers from Sea-Tac, Paine Field, and Bellingham are a regular part of wedding work, and can be booked alongside the shuttle.

What is the cancellation policy for weddings?

Hourly charter and large-vehicle bookings require 7 days notice to cancel without charge, rather than the 24 hours that applies to standard transfers. Note that date when you confirm.

How far ahead should we book?

As early as you have a date and a venue. Summer Saturdays commit vehicles months ahead, and wedding bookings tie up a vehicle for most of a day.
