Booked as hourly charter, so the vehicle and driver stay with you all day and stops are unlimited within the reserved block.
There is no fixed itinerary, no other passengers, and no schedule but yours.
You reserve a vehicle and driver for a block of hours. Inside that block you stop where you want, for as long as you want, and the vehicle waits. There is no per-stop charge and no route we insist on.
The practical value is parking. Nearly every destination worth visiting in this region has a parking problem in season — the tulip fields, Deception Pass, Chuckanut viewpoints, downtown Seattle. A driver who drops you at the entrance and collects you at the exit removes that problem entirely.
It also removes the designated-driver problem, which matters for wine and brewery routes, and the winter-driving problem, which matters a great deal on the North Cascades Highway and the road up to Mount Baker.
Every one of these is a private charter with your own driver. Half-day and full-day blocks both work — call and we will tell you honestly which a destination needs.
April only, and worth doing properly. Roozengaarde, Tulip Town, and the display gardens, with a driver who handles the festival traffic and parking while you walk the rows.
SR-20 east through Newhalem, Diablo Lake, and Washington Pass. Closed in winter, spectacular the rest of the year, and a much better drive when someone else is doing it.
The coastal stretch between Bow and Bellingham, with oyster stops at Taylor Shellfish and Chuckanut Manor and viewpoints over Samish Bay.
The bridge, Rosario Beach, Ebey's Landing, Coupeville, and Langley. A full day the length of the island, or a half day at the north end.
Galleries, the waterfront, and the Museum of Northwest Art, with none of the First Street parking problem.
Artist Point in summer, the ski area in winter. A route where a driver who knows the road in snow is worth the entire fare.
Pike Place, the museums, a game, or a concert. Two hours down and two back, with a vehicle that does not need parking anywhere in between.
Tasting rooms without the designated-driver conversation. A full-day block, and one of the most common reasons people book us hourly.
Ferry connections at Ship Harbor, whale watching departures, and the Anacortes waterfront.
Long-haul charters
For groups willing to make a longer day of it, we run charters over the passes to central Washington. These are full-day or multi-day bookings rather than casual outings — the Gorge Amphitheatre is roughly four hours from Anacortes each way.
Destinations we quote on request include the Gorge Amphitheatre for concerts, Suncadia and the Cle Elum resort area, Roslyn, Ellensburg, and the Yakima Valley wine region.
Concert shuttles to the Gorge in particular are worth booking as a group. Splitting a Sprinter fourteen ways is cheaper per person than driving, and nobody has to navigate the campground exit at one in the morning.
Half-day blocks suit a single destination; full days suit routes with several stops. Running over is possible but not guaranteed, so book the hours you actually want.
On a full day, a group of six is considerably happier in a Transit than squeezed into an SUV. The cost difference over a day is small.
Some people arrive with a plan to the half hour. Others say 'Chuckanut, and let us see.' Both work — our drivers know these routes well enough to advise.
Hourly charter and large-vehicle bookings require 7 days notice to cancel without charge, rather than the 24 hours for standard transfers.
Day trips are booked as hourly charter, so you pay for a block of hours with the vehicle and driver reserved for you. Stops within the block are unlimited and there is no per-trip charge. Call with your destination and group size and we will quote the hours.
They can be either. Our drivers know these routes well and are happy to talk about what you are seeing, but this is not a narrated coach tour with a script. Many people bring their own itinerary and simply want the driving and parking handled.
Yes, within reason. If you have booked six hours and want to change the order or swap a stop, that is straightforward. Adding a destination three hours further away is not, so flag anything ambitious when you book.
Yes, in April. It is one of our busiest charter periods, and it is genuinely the right way to see the fields — the parking situation during the festival is the main obstacle to enjoying them, and a driver removes it.
No, because it closes. SR-20 over Washington Pass shuts each winter and reopens in spring. Mount Baker and Baker Lake remain reachable, and a driver who knows those roads in snow is worth having.
Yes. Woodinville is the most common request, and Chuckanut and the Skagit Valley have their own tasting rooms. Booking a driver removes the designated-driver problem entirely.
We quote these on request as full-day or overnight group charters. It is roughly four hours each way from Anacortes, so it works best as a Sprinter booking split across a group rather than a couple travelling alone.
